Since 1947, The World Movement of Mothers
(MMM) , a non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) apolitical and
non-denominational , federates associations in 40 countries. The MMM
rises awareness of policy makers and
public opinion on the vital role of mothers for promoting peace and
human security and their contribution to social and economical
progress.
At the highest level of
Consultative Status,
the MMM gives mothers a voice at the United Nations.
The MMM’s activities in the field achieve many of the
UN Millennium Development Goals
