Since 1947, the World Movement of Mothers (MMM) has been working
to promote the importance of a mother’s role in the family, in her
community and in her nation’s life- particularly in resolving
conflict.

The MMM is an internationally recognised apolitical and
non-denominational Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) which federates
associations in 40 countries. One of the 135 NGOs at the highest level
of Consultative Status, the MMM gives mothers a voice at the United Nations.
The MMM’s activities in the field achieve many of the
UN Millennium Development Goals
